Quin Stesiak scored 12 points, and Nick Allen hit two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Rochester boys basketball team cut into a seven-point deficit, but Wabash hung on to beat the Zebras 45-44 at the RHS gym Friday and stay undefeated in Three Rivers Conference play.

RHS had a chance for the win after Trenton Daughtry missed the front end of a one-and-one with nine seconds left. RHS advanced the ball to the frontcourt and called timeout with 5.3 seconds left. Stesiak took the inbounds pass and drove to the right baseline and hit Kyle Reinartz with a cross-lane pass. Reinartz went up, but Wabash 6-8 center Elijah Vander Velden partially blocked the shot and rebounded at the horn.
