Rochester High School and Tippecanoe Valley boys swimming and diving teams will have 12 swimmers combined representing them at today’s Indiana High School Athletic Association Warsaw sectional finals and consolation session after Thursday’s preliminaries.
The Zebras have the most swimmers represented in finals and consolations with nine. Jacob Seuferer and Layne Backus made the finals for two events for Rochester. Seuferer is fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.98) and second in the 500 freestyle (5:12.57). He added 3.20 seconds in the 200 and dropped 9.71 seconds in the 500. He also was part of the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. The 400 freestyle was the highest out of the three relays with a second place finish for the Zebras.
