A powerful snowstorm dumped eight or more inches of snow across parts of Fulton County overnight into Tuesday, causing officials to close the roads to everyone except emergency workers.

By 4 p.m. Wednesday, county officials downgraded their advisory to watch level to start at 6 p.m., urging caution by the public.
