The Rochester School Board received a big gift recently: $93,100 to spend as it wishes on the education of Rochester students.

The gift is anonymous and was passed along by the Fulton County Community Foundation. It also includes a $5,000 deposit into an endowment fund managed by the foundation. “The donor made a gift to create an endowment for Rochester Community Schools. $5,000 was directed to create an endowment fund. $93,100 was given to the school corporation to be used for needs as directed by the school board,” said Foundation Director of Development Brian Johnson. The donor wishes to be anonymous.
