A recent spike in positive cases of COVID-19 in Fulton County is being attributed to graduation parties and Fourth of July gatherings.

“We are seeing, according to our health nurse, the ramifications of the Fourth of July and the lack of social distancing that went on all over the place,” Rochester Mayor Ted Denton said at Tuesday’s city council meeting. “The folks that are coming forward now that are testing positive are young folks.”
