I am very excited for November so I can place my vote for Mark Smiley, and watch Rochester grow even more than it has over the last 4 years!

Argos Boys soccer team won the regional championship at Caston Saturday night. Rochester fire department met the Argos team bus at 25 and escorted them to 110 on the way to Argos, then Argos Fire and EMS took over the lead. We all wish to thank the Rochester Fire Department for taking the time to recognize our Argos boys soccer team and make it a night they will never forget. Semi-state here we come. Again, thank you Rochester Fire Department.

I do not like how Dr. Hazen's radio commercials basically say, "come get your teeth taken care of, or die 6-7 years premature". Possibly true, but definetly a scare tactic to get business.

In this time of recycling, why is it there is no one around to work with contractorts to recyle old houses that are set for demolition?? I take old wood, single pane windows and paint them and give them away for gifts. Think of all the components of a house. Think of the struggling people that need things for their homes.

My brother put a beautiful hanging basket on our dad's grave the day our mother passed away (May 25th). Yesterday (May 31st) someone stole it from the gravesite. I watered it at approximately 1 pm and my daughter reported it missing when she visited the grave at 2 PM. Pretty pathetic since our mother's flowers from the funeral are still on the grave.
I hope whomever stole it really enjoys it while we are still grieving over our mother's death. It wasn't even on the gravesite one week. ~Firm believers of what goes around comes around~

I agree with the last two posters. My Great-Uncle & Aunt were rural residents (RR4) of Rochester for many years. I moved away many years ago, but would like to keep up on local events, but NOT by being nickled and dimed to death.

I agree with Chadwick! I tried to sign up for the "Sentinel E Edition" but it kept directing me to a page asking for money.

I was readin the sentinel on line the other month and sudenly I can't read most of the articles. What is goin on? This is rude! You all ain't got no monopoly on local news. That ain't legal and that ain't right darnit.

I was born in Rochester in 1947 but moved when I was very young. I have no memory of Rochester.

What kind of town is Rochester? How are the people? Is it a good place to live? What must I see if I were to visit for a few days?

Thanks,
Nolan
