WARSAW - The frowns and looks of frustration on the faces of the Rochester boys golf team after the Three Rivers Conference tournament at Rozella Ford Golf Club might not have indicated how well they played.

Winamac beats RHS with big 6th
BASEBALL

There is being relaxed in a good way, and there is being relaxed in a bad way.

The Rochester baseball team was relaxed in a bad way, according to coach Cory Good, and visiting Winamac took advantage to score seven runs in the top of the sixth inning and beat the Zebras 13-9 at Bob Copeland Field Thursday.

Caston 6-10, West Central 1-0 (Game 2, 6 innings, Monday): Galen Rentschler pitched a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and added two hits and two RBIs at the plate as the host Comets completed a Midwest Conference doubleheader sweep of West Central Monday with a 10-0 win in six innings.

The Rochester girls tennis team's week began with a loss Monday. Now their week might only get tougher.

Manchester swept the host Lady Zs 5-0 Monday with the Lady Squires winning all 10 varsity sets. RHS won 15 games in the five matches combined.

A runner runs out of his lane in the 4 x 100 relay and gets disqualified. A pole vaulter can't quite clear the opening height.

Track meets can be that close sometimes. Peru and Rochester both found out how close to the edge they lived during Monday's meet, contested at Barnhart Field under overcast skies and chilly winds.
