Tony LeRoy Coleman
Oct. 9, 1975 - May 25, 2014

Tony LeRoy Coleman, 38, Rochester, passed away at 3 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Woodlawn Hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1975, in Plymouth, to Buck Coleman and Cheri (Willett) Coleman, and has remained a lifelong area resident.

Tony is survived by his sons, Alec Coleman and Joseph Spaulding, both of South Bend; his father, Buck (Barb Mitchell) Coleman, LaPaz; his mother, Cheri Coleman, Rochester; a sister, Tracy Coleman, Bremen; two nieces, Samantha Davis and Sienna O'Connor; and a nephew, Blake Davis.

Prior to his death, Tony worked in sales and installation for Graphix Unlimited in Bremen. He was a graduate of LaVille Junior-Senior High School, attended Plymouth Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Lakeville American Legion, as well as Abate Region 1. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and teaching his son to ride motorcycles. Tony would help anybody out with whatever needed to be done. He was a wonderful and loving dad, son, brother and uncle, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service is 3 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Newton Center, 601 N. Michigan St., Lakeville, with Pastor Oliver Dongell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the Newton Center. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Tony may be donated to a trust fund being established for his son, Alec, to Palmer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 33, Lakeville, IN 46536. Online condolences may be left for the Coleman family at

I am very saddened to hear of Tony's death. My grandson Joseph looks so much like him. And Tony was a very good man. He will be missed. We pray for the families and friends of Tony. May he rest in peace. Amen
