My mom worked for Ruth's egg business for many years and she was a close friend of the family. I enjoyed going on the routes to deliver eggs and helped gather, wash, and package eggs on occasion also. I will never forget the year she had my mom and me gather dandelions from the fertilizer plant grounds so she could make dandelion wine. I think she still had some when I visited her in the mid 90's.
