Jan. 5, 1940 - March 23, 2014

Nina Isabelle Moore, 74, formerly of Rochester, passed away at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Community Howard Regional Health Campus, Kokomo.

On Jan. 5, 1940, Nina was born in Indianapolis to Homer and Elizabeth Shore Kliene. Nina was a proud graduate of New Palestine High School with the class of 1958.

As a homemaker, Nina cherished her family and the times they spent together. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Moose Lodge.

Nina is lovingly remembered by a daughter, D'Lee Jordan, Terre Haute, and her children Quinten Lee Hawkey, Amelia Hawkey, Lillie Mae Jordan; a son, John Moore and wife Rachel, Fulton, and their children Sarah Wolf, Amanda Moore, Kalie Moore, Ashley Shafer and Sheyanne Shafer; a sister, Emma Lou Burris and husband Larry, Greenfield; a brother, Sanford Kliene and wife Mae, Martinsville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Nina in death are her parents and Sassy, her beloved pug.

A celebration of the life of Nina I. Moore is noon Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester.
