Mr. Randall L. "Randy" McGee, 64, of Rochester, passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Born on Feb. 21, 1949, Randall Lee McGee was the treasured son of Harold and Wilma Nette McGee. Growing up, he shared his childhood with two sisters, Becky and Evelyn, and a brother, Roy.

In May of 1969, with great Zebra pride, he graduated from Rochester High School.

Following graduation, patriotism beckoned him. Randy answered the call serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He continued on with his service a number of years with the National Guard.

Randy retired from Rochester Metal Products in 2002,  due to declining health. His memberships include the Leroy Shelton American Legion Post No. 36 and the Manitou V.F.W. Post No. 1343.

Left to cherish Randy's memories are his sweetheart, Avice Gunter, at home; two daughters, Dominea Trigg and companion Jeff Cole, of Akron, and Brandy Kanouse and husband Rick, of Rochester; a sister, Becky Honkomp and husband John, of Macy; a brother, Roy McGee and wife Debbie, of South Mud Lake; three grandchildren, Mikaela Trigg, Jacob Cole and Tyler Kanouse. He was especially fond of his extended family, Gale Reynolds, Jeffrey Gunter and wife Karol and their families.

Preceding him in death are his father; mother on Oct. 21, 2012; and a sister, Evelyn Faulstich.

A celebration of the life of Mr. Randall Lee "Randy" McGee will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the Good Family Funeral Home , Rochester.

Friends may visit with his family one hour prior to his service.

Military rites will be accorded by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honors Team.

You may wish to send an online condolence or light a candle to honor his memory at www.goodfamilyfh.com.
