David Duff

David L. Duff, 75, Argos, passed away at 8:43 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at his daughter's residence in Rochester, following a lengthy illness.

He was born Sept. 20, 1937, in Argos, to parents Earl and Bernice (Finney) Duff. He lived all his life in the Argos community.

On June 29, 1957, he married Juanita Stevens in Argos. Together, they have shared the last 55 years.

In 1958, David and Juanita were called into the ministry and he continued to minister and attend church faithfully until his passing. He also worked at Bremen Castings for 35 years and retired in 2000.

He attended and was a member of the Plymouth Church of Jesus Christ, and was a graduate of Argos High School in the class of 1955.

He left behind a great legacy and instilled a love for the Lord in the lives of his family and all those he met.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Duff, Argos; children, David Duff Jr. and wife Kim, Argos, Elizabeth Granning and husband John, Rochester, James Duff and wife Ellen, Warsaw, Naomi Ball and husband Andrew, Rochester, and Stephen Duff and wife Sue, Bourbon; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dean Duff and wife Faye, Bourbon, and Don Duff, Bremen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Duff.

Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Plymouth Church of Jesus Christ, with the reverends Olan Howard and Lloyd Howard officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Church of Jesus Christ.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's family. He was a godly family man. I know that he is walking with Jesus today and feeling great!!
