Harold Howard II
Feb. 5, 1981 - Feb. 4, 2013

Mr. Harold 'Chip' Howard II, 31, of  Rochester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at his residence. 

He was born on Feb. 5, 1981, in Columbia City, to Harold and Alice Mae (Steidel) Howard.

Chip was a resident of Rochester his entire life. Tinkering with anything he could get his hands on was his favorite pastime. He also had an interest in guns and computers.

Chip will be lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Carla R. Lester, of Rochester, and Heaven Shaffer, of Angola; one brother, Chris Howard; his fiance, Shelby Lynn Howard; one son, Jackson Carl Howard; one niece, Rebecca Anne Carr; his grandmother, Irene Howard; one aunt, Ruby Howard; one uncle, Clayton Howard, all of Rochester; and his canine companion, Buhhda.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.

Memorials may be made to the family through the Good Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 453, Rochester.

In all my time of riding the school bus, you were one of the most memorable people I met. I think of you every time I make a duck call with my hands, think of a gun shot making the sound "barooog", or consider hillbilly as an ethnic group.

Hey little brother just wanted to tell you I miss you like mad. I am going to do as you wished and make sure my sister in-law and nephew are OK. Because its what you ask me. Its never goodbye its see ya later. See you on the other side bub. I love you very much!!!!!!!
