Nicholas W. Yarber Jr., 75, Rochester, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Sunday Sept. 9, 2012 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

Nicholas was born on May 22, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Nicholas W. Sr., and Versie (Lawson) Yarber

On Nov. 8, 1975 in Anaheim, Calif., he married Margaret Ann Riley. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2012.

Mr. Yarber had lived in California and Arizona for many years before moving to Rochester, where he worked for Talma Fastener. He had served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his children, Tamara and husband Dean Walchak, Klamath Falls, Ore., Tim and wife Katie Yarber, Rochester, Christopher and wife Sara Yarber, Bourbon; grandchildren, Melissa Aud, Klamath Falls, Ore., Amber Aud, Las Vegas, Nev., Evan Walchak, Klamath Falls, Ore., Elijah Yarber, Brianna Yarber, Jabez Yarber, Boaz Yarber, all of Rochester, Allison Yarber, Bourbon; great-grandchild, Ashlyn Aud, Klamath Falls, Ore.; brothers, Steven and wife Linda Yarber, Chino Hills, Calif. and John and wife Julie Yarber, Grass Valley, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private internment will take place at Akron Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.

Arrangements are entrusted to Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
