Ada M. Neher

Ada M. Neher, 97, Sullivan, Mo., formerly of Rochester, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1914, in Fulton county, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Milliser) Wells. On Dec. 23, 1939, in Valparaiso she married Truman V. Neher. He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 1973.
Mrs. Neher had been a homemaker and had attended Leiters Ford Methodist Church and the First Assembly of God Church, Rochester. She liked to garden, can produce, sew and loved to play the piano.
Survivors include her son, Truman and wife Gloria Neher, Culver; daughters, Betty Lou and husband Carl Spindle, Dallas, Texas, Janie Sue and husband Mike McGowen, Scipio; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday Aug. 11, 2012, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Daniel Davidson officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the funeral time Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Leiters Ford Cemetery.
