Roy "Jack" Lee Hedrick, 90, Logansport, died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport.

He was born March 13, 1922, in Loree to Cloyd R. Hedrick and Lula (Cunningham) Hedrick. He married Virginia Stingley on Dec. 17, 1968.

Jack was a farmer and he retired from Chrysler in 1983. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Logansport, and was a lifetime member of the Coon Hunters Association, Logansport. Jack was an avid mushroom hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hedrick; six sons, Terry Hedrick, Kokomo, Stephen Hedrick and wife Pamela, Galveston, Jack Hedrick and wife Mary, Rochester, Jim Hedrick, Rochester, John Hedrick and wife Iva, Rochester, and Robert Hedrick and companion Paula, Royal Center; a daughter, Rebecca Hulet, Greentown; four stepsons, Mike Sims and wife Yvette, Logansport, Steve Sims and wife Beatrice, Hebron, Jeffrey Sims and wife Rina, Peru, and David Sims, Peru; a stepdaughter, Kathy Strahlem and husband Bill, Logansport; a sister, Loretta Blanton, Kokomo; 18 grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by both parents; one stepdaughter, Donna Blizzard; three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, with Pastor Rod Mason officiating.

Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial is at Rankin Cemetery, Miami County.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Allen Funeral Home.
